What Sets Us Apart The Coaching Framework Our coaching framework is a unique hybrid of executive coaching and leadership psychology. We understand what makes a great leader in the workplace; and we focus on capacities that align with the strategy, vision, and values of your organization. We also have the ability to ‘go deeper’ with our clients because of our advanced understanding of human behaviour. The Assessment Process We administer the 16PF Personality Assessment; a psychometric test that can only be interpreted by those with formal training in assessment and/or an advanced degree in psychology or a related field. The 16PF Leadership Coaching Report identifies how the client compares to a normed group of highly successful leaders – and suggests practical and specific applications for development. We also collect our 360-degree feedback via face-to-face interviews at no extra charge. Although this format is more time-consuming for the coach, the information captured is much richer than with electronic or pen-and-paper surveys. The questions we ask in the feedback interviews are also structured in a way that lends the data to both qualitative and quantitative analysis: allowing for a more focused and comprehensive way of understanding and measuring the areas of growth. Flexibility We provide flexibility in the way services are provided: in or away from the office, in-person or by phone. Clients can experience their meetings in the setting that’s most comfortable and effective for them. Follow-up Support For no additional charge we also offer a 6-month follow-up assessment to help ensure continued development and success. Service Guarantee If, for some reason, at the end of the program all stakeholders (typically the client, the client’s manager, and/or the HR sponsor) agree that the program was not helpful, your entire fee will be refunded.
Your Coach Chris Hammer, Ph.D., is a certified professional coach and licensed psychologist who has coached many leaders toward a wide range of professional and personal goals. He is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Calgary Association of Professional Coaches, and the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta. Chris’ approach to coaching is augmented by his training in psychology: drawing on the tools and knowledge of the applicable subfields of the discipline (Cognitive, Behavioural, Motivational, Social, and Industrial/Organizational models). In addition to his coaching services Chris facilitates a range of Organizational Health and Training programs for companies in the Calgary area. He is also a recent graduate of Leadership Calgary: a Community Leadership development program focused on the cultivation of wise and responsible leadership. He is passionate about life-long learning and growth. Chris is passionate about working with people who are motivated to
succeed and to be fulfilled; regardless of how they define such
concepts. He enjoys working with people who take charge of their own
choices and growth, and he believes that clarity of intention and
